NWRBX No Longer Has a Fax Line &/or Machine
Since we moved at the end of May 2025, we observed our fax line usage very carefully. We did not have ANY inquiries from our member to use our fax machine – either to send us a fax or send them a fax or for a member to use our fax machine to send or receive elsewhere. In the past, this has been a common practice, but technology has advanced and the fax has become a bit antiquated. With that information, we made the decision to discontinue the use of our fax machine and fax line. We have retired/recycled our fax machine that we purchased in 2001. It was our 2nd fax machine and it was a good little workhorse. Thanks for the memories!
During that time, we also monitored our phone calls. We have had two phone lines for many years reduced from three (+ the fax line) back in the day. When our office was full of our member/estimators and before cell phones, our phones were being used for incoming and outgoing phone calls by many. It was necessary to have multiple phone lines. Now we do not have our member/estimators hanging out in our office for hours at a time. When they come in, it is more of an in & out experience and they most certainly have their own cell phone. So while we were monitoring the fax line usage, we also monitored 2nd phone line usage. This was also found to be not necessary.
In an effort to reduce cost and waste, we are now down to one landline 715-834-2934 (no change in the last 50 years or so) and our NWRBX cell phone 715-491-5331.
