Congratulation…to our scholarship recipients!
At last week’s NWR Builders Exchange Board of Directors meeting, our board members met to select the SIX scholarship recipients for the $500 that will be awarded at our Annual Meeting in January 2027. We received 14 applications – the exact same number as we received last year. Our board members were given the applications with all names redacted from the applications so our board members do not know who the applications belong to, where they are from, or what company their parent works for. Prior to the meeting our board members voted. When we gather for the meeting and compile the results our board members are always interested in who actually submitted those applications.
The only criterion for applying is that the student must be the son or daughter or an employee of a NWRBX member. Also, any student, whether they are graduating from high school or currently attending a post high school, may apply. The student is required to attend a post high school in the fall semester and to successfully complete that semester. The scholarships will be awarded at our 2027 annual meeting after they have successfully fulfilled that semester.
The following will receive the $500 scholarship at our 2027 Annual Meeting:
