2024-2025 NWR Builders Exchange Scholarship Announcement

04/24/2024

At last week’s NWR Builders Exchange Board of Directors meeting, our board members met to select the SIX scholarship recipients for the $500 that will be awarded at our Annual Meeting in January 2025.  Our applicant numbers were very low this year.  We only received eight applications this year.  This compares to an average of 25 over the past several years.  We have no idea why the numbers were so low.  Prior to the meeting our board members voted.  When we gathered for the meeting, our board member decided that all 8 were deserving of the scholarship.  So,  in January 2025, we will be awarding EIGHT $500 scholarships!

The only criterion for applying is that the student must be the son or daughter or an employee of a NWRBX member.  Also, any student, whether they are graduating from high school or currently attending a post high school, may apply.  The student is required to attend a post high school in the fall semester and to successfully complete that semester.  The scholarships will be awarded at our 2025 annual meeting after they have successfully fulfilled that semester.

All cities, names and company names were removed from the applications

for the board of directors’ reviewing.

The following will receive the $500 scholarship at our 2025 Annual Meeting:
