In Memoriam: Mike Rogers

In Loving Memory of Michael Patrick Rogers.  Mike peacefully passed away in his home on August 25th, 2023, after a courageous and valiantly fought eight-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mike was born in Menomonie, WI on March 17, 1964, to Andrew and Nancy (Lessard) Rogers.

His passing is deeply felt by his beloved wife, Teresa (Weyer, Fritz) Rogers. They discovered a profound connection 18.5 years ago and married on July 15, 2006, on the family farm. They brought together six children as one blended and unified family. He adored his wife and for their 10th wedding anniversary, the marriage was blessed at St. Joseph Catholic Church in a vow renewal celebration.

His commitment to his family was mirrored across all aspects of his life. Humble in his achievements, Mike was a business owner, a master plumber by trade, and supported Teresa’s multiple salon expansion. Mike started his successful plumbing business, Rogers Plumbing, from the ground up over 24 years ago. His passion and dedication to his craft was a testament to his values. He believed in the importance of continued learning and mastering one's profession. His career accomplishments not only left their mark on countless projects, but also served as a symbol of his determination to provide for his family and community. He is leaving behind a legacy that will be felt for generations.

Mike is survived by his wife, Teresa Rogers; five children, seven grandchildren,. He is further survived by Father and Mother-in-law James and Mary Weyer; Siblings Duane (Arla) Rogers, Kathy (Kevin) Johnson, Steve (Missy) Rogers; Sister-in-law, Babette Weyer; Brother-in-law, James Weyer Jr., Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, and abundant friends and business associates.

Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Menomonie, WI
